Roasted-spiced nuts are among my favorite snacks. I like to use egg whites instead of butter, because I want to keep these on the healthy side. I really didn’t miss the butter flavor from my other Spiced Mixed Nuts, so I figured why not try it again. The flax gives it a nutritional crunch & with all these yummy spices, they are packed with flavor!!
Yum. These little gems are so good, & it’s healthy too! Unless of course you eat the whole batch at once, then, not so much. I used almond butter this time, but I have also used peanut butter & it’s just as delightful. Keep in mind, this doesn’t hold up so well at room temperature. It should go from the freezer directly into your mouth.
