Description

Essentially, crispy chicken fritta is chicken breasts dipped in breadcrumbs, milk, and again breadcrumbs before they are fried in hot oil.

  • 2 cups dry bow tie pasta
  • 4 broccoli florets
  • 2 white mushrooms quartered
  • 1 cup plain breadcrumbs
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup Kraft Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 6 thick pieces of chicken breast strips or chicken tenders
  • vegetable oil for frying
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons crushed garlic
  • ½ cup vinegar
  • ¼ cup water
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • ¾ cup half and half
  • ¼ cup sour cream
  • ½ teaspoons salt
  • ⅛ teaspoons basil leaves
  • ¾ cup mild, finely grated Asiago cheese
  • 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper

How To Make Crispy Chicken Fritta

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, breadcrumbs, and parmesan cheese.
  2. Fill the second bowl halfway with milk.
  3. First, coat the chicken in the breadcrumb mixture.
  4. After that, dip it in milk.
  5. Finally, cover it with breadcrumbs once more.
  6. In a medium-low heat frying pan, cook the breaded chicken until golden brown.
  7. Remove the chicken from the pan and place it on a wire rack to drain.

    How To Make Pasta Crispy Chicken Fritta

  8. To prepare pasta, follow the package directions.
  9. Broccoli and mushrooms can be prepared by lightly steaming them.
  10. Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat, then add olive oil.
  11. Whisk in the flour until thoroughly incorporated.
  12. Then stir in the garlic, water, and salt. Make sure to thoroughly mix everything together.
  13. Pour in the vinegar and thoroughly mix it up.
  14. Combine half-and-half and sour cream in a mixing bowl. Continue to stir until smooth.
  15. Gently fold in the shredded Asiago cheese until completely melted.
  16. Toss lightly with fresh basil on top.
  17. Then remove from the heat.
  18. Using a bowl or plate, divide the pasta into individual portions.
  19. Spoon sauce over each portion.
  20. Sprinkle red crushed pepper over the pasta, followed by broccoli, mushrooms, and crispy chicken fritta.
  21. Finish off with grated Parmesan cheese.
  22. Serve and enjoy.

Notes

  • When the internal temperature of the crispy chicken fritta is between 160°F and 175°F, you’ll know it’s done.
  • To make chicken tender, follow the same recipe directions.
  • When frying the chicken fritta, make sure to use vegetable oil.
  • Use seasoned breadcrumbs to add extra Falvore.
  • Make sure the chicken fritta is at room temperature before storing it.
  • Instead of using plastic containers for storage, try using glass containers.
