Description
Essentially, crispy chicken fritta is chicken breasts dipped in breadcrumbs, milk, and again breadcrumbs before they are fried in hot oil.

- 2 cups dry bow tie pasta
- 4 broccoli florets
- 2 white mushrooms quartered
- 1 cup plain breadcrumbs
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- ¼ cup Kraft Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup milk
- 6 thick pieces of chicken breast strips or chicken tenders
- vegetable oil for frying
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 teaspoons crushed garlic
- ½ cup vinegar
- ¼ cup water
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- ¾ cup half and half
- ¼ cup sour cream
- ½ teaspoons salt
- ⅛ teaspoons basil leaves
- ¾ cup mild, finely grated Asiago cheese
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper

How To Make Crispy Chicken Fritta
- In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, breadcrumbs, and parmesan cheese.
- Fill the second bowl halfway with milk.
- First, coat the chicken in the breadcrumb mixture.
- After that, dip it in milk.
- Finally, cover it with breadcrumbs once more.
- In a medium-low heat frying pan, cook the breaded chicken until golden brown.
- Remove the chicken from the pan and place it on a wire rack to drain.
How To Make Pasta Crispy Chicken Fritta
- To prepare pasta, follow the package directions.
- Broccoli and mushrooms can be prepared by lightly steaming them.
- Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat, then add olive oil.
- Whisk in the flour until thoroughly incorporated.
- Then stir in the garlic, water, and salt. Make sure to thoroughly mix everything together.
- Pour in the vinegar and thoroughly mix it up.
- Combine half-and-half and sour cream in a mixing bowl. Continue to stir until smooth.
- Gently fold in the shredded Asiago cheese until completely melted.
- Toss lightly with fresh basil on top.
- Then remove from the heat.
- Using a bowl or plate, divide the pasta into individual portions.
- Spoon sauce over each portion.
- Sprinkle red crushed pepper over the pasta, followed by broccoli, mushrooms, and crispy chicken fritta.
- Finish off with grated Parmesan cheese.
- Serve and enjoy.
Notes
- When the internal temperature of the crispy chicken fritta is between 160°F and 175°F, you’ll know it’s done.
- To make chicken tender, follow the same recipe directions.
- When frying the chicken fritta, make sure to use vegetable oil.
- Use seasoned breadcrumbs to add extra Falvore.
- Make sure the chicken fritta is at room temperature before storing it.
- Instead of using plastic containers for storage, try using glass containers.
