Description

A nutritious Gingerbread Smoothie bursting with traditional gingerbread taste. For the holiday season, make a quick and easy breakfast, snack, or dessert.


Ingredients

  • 1 generous cup milkI use unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 small chilled applechopped (use a sweet variety, or swap for a small frozen banana)
  • ½ teaspoon ground ginger
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • cloves pinch ground
  • 1 teaspoon pure maple syrup or molassesor more to taste
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder or ⅓ cup vanilla yogurt
  • 1-2 cups ice
  • Whipped cream or crumbled gingersnapsoptional garnishes

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine all of the ingredients and blend until smooth.
