Description
Try this copycat recipe of the popular Starbucks drink – Caramel Could Macchiato! Airy, foamy, full of delicious espresso and vanilla flavor, and topped with buttery caramel sauce. This Starbucks cloud macchiato recipe is not to be missed!
Ingredients
For the Cold Foam (Cloud)
- 1 tablespoon egg white powder
- 3 tablespoons icing sugar
- 1/8 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 tablespoons water

Iced Macchiato Drink
- 1/2 cup espresso
- 2 tablespoons milk
- Ice
For the Topping
- caramel sauce for topping
Instructions

Using an espresso machine, make the espresso. (You can also use a really strong cup of normal coffee.) Chill the espresso.

Combine egg white powder, icing sugar, vanilla extract, and water in a large mixing dish. Using a hand mixer, beat on medium speed until frothy.

Half-fill the glass with ice cubes.

Fill the glass with cooled espresso and milk.

Pour the egg powder foam into the glass with care.

Finish with a drizzle of caramel sauce. Serve and have fun!
Notes
- To make hot cloud macchiato: Simply skip the ice and pour the hot espresso into the glass, then add milk and egg white foam.
